Sam McWilliams
Sam McWilliams has 35 years of experience in various segments of the chemical, pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries. He has experience in the roles of process engineering manager, senior project manager, PSM coordinator, director of business development, plant manager, EH&S manager and operations manager for both operating and engineering firms including Monsanto, Ethyl, Raytheon, Stone & Webster and AMEC. He is a certified, experienced process hazard analysis facilitator with extensive experience in all aspects of process safety management compliance including functioning as an audit team leader, incident investigation leader and developer of plant-wide safe work practices and safety and health programs. He is experienced in both batch and continuous processing and a wide range of unit operations including distillation, filtration, drying, centrifugation, reactor design and process heat transfer. He has managed green field expansion projects as well as existing plant modifications projects both  domestically and internationally. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a M.S. in Engineering Management and is a member of AIChE, ISPE, PMI and ASSE. 
 
Hoyt Roberts 
Hoyt Roberts has over 40 years of experience in various IT and production positions for 3M at their Decatur, AL facility. He was the Application Development Specialist for the Environmental, Health, Safety and Regulatory department for two divisions, as well as the Supervisor of Information Systems at the plant. In these positions he developed application programs using ACCESS and Lotus Notes databases to monitor the plant's PSM program including incident report action items, PHA action items, management of change program and the mechanical integrity program. He also developed a visitor/contractor work permit system that automated the monitoring of visitors/contractors activities within the plant and was part of the plant's security system. He was also the plant's Chemical Manufacturing Association's Responsible Care Program coordinator, Materials Control Manager, Production Supervisor and Production Operator. He is experienced and trained with personal and mainframe computers, network system design and installation and programming in several 4GL, C and Turbo Pascal languages. He is also an expert in Lotus Notes and its application. 
 
Don Swanner

Don Swanner has 35 years of progressive experience with 3M in the chemical and film industries. He is experienced in both batch and continuous processes and a wide range of unit operations. He has experience in the roles of Site Safety and Security Supervisor; Safety Specialist for the Plant's PSM and Hazardous Materials programs; and coordinator for the site emergency response team, risk management program, contractor safety program and Sara Title III. He is an experienced process hazard analysis facilitator and has developed multiple safe work practices and emergency response policies and procedures. He has served as an auditor for PSM compliance audits and is experienced in leading incident investigations. 
He has served for many years as the 3M site liaison for the Morgan County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) which included multiple terms as chairperson for the Industrial Emergency Association and the Community Awareness Committee. He has been recognized as a leader in the planning and staging of community emergency drills.
